Outlook Express/Windows Mail

1.    Open Outlook Express/Windows Mail.
2.    Click on the Tools menu and select Accounts.
3.    Select the Mail tab.


4.    Select the account you wish to set up to receive e-mail and click Properties.
5.    Click on the Servers tab.
6.    Set the POP3 (incoming) mail server to: mail.yourdomainname.co.nz

For example - if your domain name is:    helloworld.co.nz
The POP3 mail server is:                            mail.helloworld.co.nz
If your domain name is:                              netactive.net.nz
The POP3 mail server is:                            mail.netactive.net.nz
and so on.

7.    The SMTP (outgoing) mail server should be set to your ISP's SMTP mail server. This will probably already be set.
8.    Set Account name to yourusername@yourdomainname.co.nz

For example, if your user name is joe and your domain name is helloworld.co.nz, your account name is joe@helloworld.co.nz


9.    Set Password to the password you have been given.
10.  Click OK.
11.  Click Close in the Internet Accounts window.

12.  If you are using Outlook Express/Windows Mail, and it asks you to close it at this time, please do so.
13.  You can click Send/Receive if you wish to ensure you can receive e-mail (restart Outlook Express/Windows Mail if you have had to close it).
